BC | Asia Twinning Tool Kit: Opening B.C. Communities to the World
The BC | Asia Twinning Tool Kit 
(745 KB) was developed specifically for local governments as a practical “how-to” guide to establishing new international twinning arrangements, or enhancing existing ones.
The Tool Kit outlines the rationale for communities to engage in twinning arrangements and provides practical advice on:
- getting started;
- selecting a twin;
- establishing an arrangement;
- maximizing the potential of arrangements over time; and
- measuring progress.
The Tool Kit also profiles the twinning experiences of ten local governments from across the province. Although the Tool Kit focuses on twinnings with Asia, the principles and resources contained within it may be applied to other twinning initiatives.
